27 - 28 June 2018 - VI National Congress of Food and Local Authorities

The Congress – organised by the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences of the University of Porto, with the scientific and institutional support of the Directorate-General for Health – will have "Identity and Competitiveness of the Regions" as its theme. This will allow us to look at food as a way to:

  • benefit a region with regard to the health of its population
  • make the region more competitive and prosperous, without losing its gastronomic identity that makes it more differentiated and appealing.
